How much depth margin should I buy?

Rate the rig 30–50% deeper than your deepest planned well. Ratings are set in favorable ground; margin absorbs deeper aquifers, harder formations and the wells you have not planned yet.

Can one rig drill both mud and air?

Yes — combination rigs run mud rotary in soft ground and a DTH hammer in rock. If your geology varies between jobs, a combination rig such as the Aquilon 450C avoids owning two machines.

What do you need from me for an accurate quote?

Target depth and hole diameter, the ground you expect (soil, rock, mixed), power available on site, and the delivery address. With those five, we quote the rig and shipping together.

Is an electric rig powerful enough for farm wells?

For wells in its depth class, yes. The Aquilon 300E drills to 1,000 ft (300 m) on grid or generator power, quietly — the limit is depth class, not the drive type.

Aurora Rigs owners get a free webpage and a directory listing — with no annual fee for as long as you run an Aurora rig, whichever model you own — so customers in their town can find a verified local driller. Owners: your page brings inquiries straight to your WhatsApp. Customers: contact the driller directly — we take no commission.

The directory

Verified owner pages are being prepared

Our first verified driller pages are in preparation with the owners. Each page will show the company's services (drilling, well rehabilitation, pump installation, repairs), its service area, its licence or registration number where the owner has provided proof, real job-site photos, and a WhatsApp button that reaches the owner directly.

Verified owners only

Pages are made only for confirmed Aurora Rigs buyers, and are marked "Verified Aurora Rigs owner". Licence numbers are published only after we have seen the proof document; where no licence exists, the page does not claim one.

Inquiries go direct

Every inquiry from a driller page goes to the owner's own WhatsApp or email. Aurora Rigs does not take a commission and does not stand between the customer and the driller.

The owner's data stays the owner's

An owner can ask for the page to be updated or taken down at any time, and it will be. Owners who later want their own domain keep full ownership of their independent site; the domain is registered and renewed in the owner's name. A page stays live while its information is accurate, and is taken down if a licence lapses or a complaint against the owner is verified.

Aurora Rigs supplies equipment; drilling services are provided by the independent contractor. We do not warrant any contractor's workmanship — check licences, references and the completion documents from Lesson 4 of the Academy before you hire.
