Questions
How deep does a geothermal borehole need to be?
Most ground-source loops run 200–600 ft depending on load and geology. The G260's 850 ft (260 m) class covers residential and commercial borefields with margin.
Why a double-head rig?
The double rotary head advances casing and the inner string together, which keeps unstable ground open and speeds up loop installation.
Does it install the loop too?
Yes. It sets the U-loop after drilling, and grout is placed by tremie before the rig moves to the next bore.
Can it work on residential streets?
Yes. The crawler carrier and compact footprint are sized for lots and retrofit sites, not just open fields.
How is it priced?
Quoted per order, including shipping to your location.
